Summer Vacation with Kids...Maui
So it came time to book our family vacation. I wanted to take my kids to Maui, but which hotel. I did research and narrowed our choices down to three. The Marriott's Maui Ocean Club, the Westin Maui Resort and Spa, and the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa.
I think any of these three would have been amazing, but since it was my first time with the kids I decided to ask my closest friends for their personal opinion based on previous experience. So, on to Facebook I went and posted the question to all my friends and came back with my own top three choices(this was very validating due to all my research). But, of those three choices, one stood out and filled all our requirements. I wanted a place walking distance to shops and restaurants, a short walk to beaches that were kid friendly, waterslides were high on the kids list, and a mini-fridge for milk and sandwich fixings was a must.
I booked the Westin Maui Resort and Spa and it was AMAZING. We arrived to an amazing open air lobby that had pink flamingos and koi in the pond. Our room was comfy and spacious. We chose a mountain view room as we aren't in the room much anyway.
The best part was the pool.
